Pamela Bourg, MS, RN, Named Fellow Of Academy of Emergency NursingPublished 11/9/2011

The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) announced the 2011 inductees to the Academy of Emergency Nursing (AEN). The AEN fellowship is a prestigious honor recognizing emergency nurses for their contributions to patient care in and out of the emergency department. "Induction into the Academy of Emergency Nursing is one of the highest honors the profession bestows," said AnnMarie Papa, president of the Emergency Nurses Association.

Pamela Bourg, MS, RN, has been with St. Anthony Hospital for the past 15 years, and is director of the Trauma Program. Her career reflects an integration of clinical practice, education and research that has influenced colleagues and patients. Through her research, writing, and editorial work, she has substantially contributed to emergency nursing. She is recognized for specific, enduring, substantial, and sustained contributions to the field of emergency nursing as well as providing visionary leadership to the Emergency Nurses Association.

Pamela is an active member of the ski patrol at Copper Mountain Colorado and she is a state faculty member for Emergency Nurse Pediatric Curriculum (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC).
