NCMC neurologist begins to see patients at Morgan County clinicPublished 5/18/2010

North Colorado Medical Center neurologist Jeffrey Siegel, M.D., will begin holding a monthly neurology clinic in Brush on May 12. The clinic will be open the second Wednesday of every month.

The goal of the clinic is to provide patients with the most complete and advanced neurological care available as close to their homes as possible. The clinic will be at East Morgan County Hospital, 2400 Edison in Brush. Dr. Siegel practices with neurologists William Shaffer, M.D., and Todd Hayes, D.O., in the NCMC Neurology Clinic based at NCMC in Greeley. Physicians offer patients evaluation and care of neurological conditions including dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy and seizure care, pediatric neurology, stroke care, electro diagnostic studies, headache management, cerebral palsy, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis and memory disorders.

Dr. Siegel received his medical degree from the School of Medicine, State University of New York, Stony Brook, and completed training in neurology at University Hospital in Denver and internal medicine at University Hospital in New York. He is board certified in neurology and has practiced neurology for more than 15 years. Prior to joining NCMC as medical director of the neurology clinic, he was the director of the Joint Commission certified Stroke Program at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, N.C.
