FDA approves Saphris to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Saphris tablets (asenapine) to treat adults with schizophrenia, a chronic, severe and disabling brain disorder, and to treat bipolar I disorder in adults.



NASN wants only nurses to administer insulin

The American Nurses Association (ANA), which represents the interests of the nation’s 2.9 million registered nurses (RNs), and the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) announced that they strongly urge California state legislators not to pass legislation.
