Dori Biester, president and CEO of The Children’s Hospital in Denver, recently received the University of Iowa’s 2003 Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. This award is granted to only six recipients every year for demonstrating service and achievement in their communities.

An estimated 2,500 cyclists and 700 volunteers came out to show their support through both donations and hard work July 12-13 in the fight against multiple sclerosis. Participants rode as part of the Great-West MS 150 Bike Tour, hosted by the Colorado Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
